It's Christmas at Lancaster!

When it rains, it pours! Well, that's probably the main theme of our whole trip to Lancaster. But all the hassle that we went through going to Cavite went away when we arrived at the destination.

I was invited and a handful of bloggers to witness a gift giving activity for the kids at Lancaster New City. I believe this was the first time I've ever seen a developer give gifts to the kids of their homeowners - a great tradition that will become memorable to the children when they grow up.

Tagged as "Santa's Little Surprises," Santa's elves are set to give away gifts to celebrate the true essence of Christmas: sharing love, peace and happiness.

After the elves special performance for the crowd. Kids lined up at the arcades to receive gifts. Specially picked treats were given to the children.

There is also a light show that starts at 10PM. Unfortunately due to the heavy rains, we missed it. :( But I'm sure that the residents of Lancaster will love it. No need to go the malls to see this spectacle.

We also toured around the development. Took a peek at some of the model units. Here are some of the models which gives the future homeowners an idea how to maximize the space.

Do you know that Lancaster have 25++ model units available? They create new models to cater to the developing needs and wants of their prospects.

Also, schools and establishments are strategically positioned within the property. There are schools, offices that are accessible to the homeowners.

St. Edward Schools offer K-12 programs in its campuses across the city. While Suntech iPark hosts BPO Locators -- imagine going to work without going through a long commute? That is golden!

I personally fell in love with the church of the Holy Family. It was quite a magnificent structure that will catch anyone's eye when they visit the place. A great place of worship in the vicinity.

They also have The Square, a mall where the residents can shop and dine with their families. We ate at Stoops before going home, which serves great Ilocano Bagnet!

Lancaster is still in its early stages of development - there had been negative reviews about their housing units in the past, but I hope that they've ironed out these early hiccups. Touring around the place, I can see that there is a lot of potential. A great place to live and start a family.
