Fans of the phenomenal Sims franchise
will be ecstatic to know that "The Sims 4: City Living" will be
packed with downloadable content (DLC) items. Rumors on "The Sims 5"
also emerged recently.
"The Sims" is a popular game
simulating daily life. Now on its fourth installment, "The Sims 4" is
developed by EA Maxis and published by Electronic Arts.
Available since Sept. 2, the players of
the popular game have explored the city of San Myshuno. Just like city life,
the users will need to pay rent to live in the city and deal with noisy
neighbors and landlords. Some of the notable add-ons in the new game are the
fireworks, bubble hookahs, street art and cultural events like eating contests.
If real life is not challenging enough,
EA Games even developed roach infestations and power outages so the sim can
experience almost realistically how it is to live in the city.
According to GameNGuide, there had been rumors
circulating that EA Games is currently developing a Celebrity Edition of
"The Sims 4: City Living." There is no update yet if real celebrities
or fictional celebrities will be featured in the alleged game. The rumored new
DLC is a perfect addition to the hustle and bustle of the city.
The Celebrity Edition is believed to be
released in 2017. Fans will need to wait a little longer because the latest
expansion was released just recently.
Theories on when "The Sims 5"
will come out also emerged in recent weeks, although EA and Maxis have not announced
anything yet pertaining to the fifth installment. According to Counsel and Heal, the developer may be
a little skeptical to develop a fifth until "The Sims 4" reaches
target sales. If "The Sims 5" will be developed in the future, fans
will have to wait until 2019 to see their hopes become reality.
