The seventh season of "Hawaii Five-O" is one episode shy away from its mid-season finale. A slew of new love interests, family reunions and more are expected when the show goes back on air in December for its tenth episode.
In an interview with TV Guide, executive producer Peter Lenkov said that the story of Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) is not yet over — a development that was a surprise since O'Loughlin announced that he will be in the show only until its eighth season.
"As long as people are watching the show, we would keep going," Lenkov said, adding, "If Alex elects not to come back, that's obviously going to be his choice. But we're moving forward as if the show's going to keep going."
Lenkov also warned fans to prepare for a cliffhanger mid-season finale. "Hawaii Five-O" is known for characters that are left in impossible situations everytime the show goes on its mid-season episode, so expect the same to happen in its seventh installment.
There are rumors that the team will go out to investigate a 10-year old case. The tenth episode titled "Ka Luhi (The Burden)" revolves around the story of a teenager who went missing. A boy suffering from post traumatic stress disorder says that he may have witnessed her murder, after he is under hypnosis.
Also, a new romance storyline is buzzing. Danny William's (Scott Caan) sister Bridget is rumored to come in to the show to attend a business conference, opening a new Oahu love connection in the series.
Steve is rumored to have a crush, and it seems that the photos are suggesting that the girl is going to be Bridget, since they seem to get up close and personal in the stills.

The seventh season of "Hawaii Five-0" is produced by K/O Paper Products and 101st Street Television, in association with CBS Productions. The tenth episode will air on Friday, Dec. 9, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.

The show turns a new leaf when the god of the underworld returns to earth. In the seventh episode titled "Rock Never Dies," Lucifer decides to occupy the body of a rockstar named Vince Vicente (Rick Springfield).
In the official synopsis of the series, Vince also known as Lucifer thinks that he can make his fans do whatever he wants. He plans to slaughter the fans of the VIP concert, creating absolute chaos. The team enters the underbelly of the music industry to stop him.
There are rumors that another character will be back to get his revenge on Lucifer. Former god of the underworld, Crowley (Mark Sheppard), will finally make Lucifer pay for what he did after he turned his body into a vessel to go back to earth.
There are reports that Jeremy Carver will be leaving the show to focus on the new series, "Frequency." According to TV Line, he will be replaced by Robert Singer and Andrew Dab.
Carver was a scriptwriter for "Supernatural" when the show was still in its third season. He goes back five years later as the showrunner of the series.

"Supernatural" season 12 is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures. The seventh episode, "Rock Never Dies" will be aired on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.

How much can the life of a drunkard and aspiring musician change when he finds himself left with the responsibility of acting as a father to three adopted children?

This is what ABS-CBN’s newest family drama, “Hawak Kamay,” will be taking on as it hits TV screens to reach out to modern day Filipino families.

The series is set to take off with acclaimed actor Piolo Pascual at the helm, who will be making a much-anticipated return to television drama following the success of his movie “Starting Over Again” earlier this year. Piolo stars in “Hawak Kamay” along with three of the country’s most powerful child stars, Zaijan Jaranilla, Andrea Brillantes, and Xyriel Manabat. The series will also introduce Grand i-Shiner Yesha Camille, who was under the mentorship of Piolo during her stint in the second season of the Promil Pre-School i-Shine Talent Camp.

Taking on the role as a father in “Hawak Kamay,” Piolo has expressed the kind of connection he feels with the country’s young stars, especially being a single parent himself. “I like working with children because I kind of see myself in them,” he said in an interview with TV Patrol.

Iza Calzado and Nikki Gil at the Hawak Kamay Family Day

“Hawak Kamay” details the story of a beat down man named Gin (Piolo Pascual), who has dreams of making it big as a musician and is faced with various challenges that may make or break his belief in himself and in the value of the relationships. Matet Considers Her Role in “The Legal Wife” The ‘Best Ever’

9:01:00 PM

Matet de Leon

Aside from the confrontation and catfight scenes of Monica and Nicole in “The Legal Wife,” the bluntness of Rowena, played by Matet de Leon, towards her mistress best friend was one of the viewers’ favorite bits in the said phenomenal drama series.

Netizens would even quote Rowena's punch lines. For Matet, her role as Nicole’s best friend was her best role throughout her acting career.

“In every acting project, you have to pretend as if you are a different person. But Rowena was just like me so I really enjoyed it,” she explains in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday (June 19).

Because of her string of best friend roles in television and the movies, including her portrayal as Zoila in “A Very Special Love,” “You Changed My Life,” and “It Takes a Man and a Woman,” Matet has recently been tagged as the “Best Friend ng Bayan.”

Matet, however, confesses that despite her success with this niche role, she cannot relate it to her personal life.

“Ironically, they call me the “Best friend ng Bayan,” but I grew up with only a few friends,” she admits.

Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Kris Aquino’s perennial sidekick in the morning talk show “KrisTV” Darla Sauler shares how the TV host saved his life after he was diagnosed with leukemia in 2011.

“Kris has a huge part in my life now,” Darla shares.

Don’t miss “Tapatan ni Tunying” (TNT) this Thursday (June 19) at 4PM on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold. For updates, follow @TNTunying on Twitter and Instagram, or like its Facebook pagewww.facebook.com/TNTunying.
